Some time ago, certain major railroad companies started to designate one or two
cars at the end of their trains as “women-only” during morning and evening rush hours. This system was aimed at protecting female passengers from molesters taking advantage of the crowds during these times. Despite the anticipated criticism against it as reverse discrimination, the female-only car system enjoys general public support because the molester issue was so serious that it affected even male passengers who were innocent but suspected of being molesters.
